I have only played around in the training mode for a couple minutes, but it ran quite a bit worse than the beta. Any suggestions?
I am running a GTX670 and just DL'd the latest drivers (on windows 8) too.

It's actually running a little bit better for me. But I'm running on Windows 7 with a GTX 770 with an i5 3570k and 8 GB of RAM. Whats your RAM and processor? Because BF4 is one of those rare games that actually will benefit from a lot of RAM and a lot of cores.
8 GB RAM and i5 750 OC'd to 4 GHz. The beta ran pretty well.
With all that said, I just realized i never finished installing the new drivers. maybe that will fix it.
the settings almost seem to not matter. the game (only played the training area) just dips in framerate big time at points, at others it is very smooth. but it is often and big enough to make you not want to play like that.
Seems to run well but textures seem weird at times and when I went up elevator in second mission when the door opened the room was invisible for a couple seconds.
Is anyone able to connect to servers because it will not let me connect
I am getting much better fps then the beta. My i5 3570k and hd 7950 (900/1250) are getting me around 45-70 fps (1366x768 max settings) just really depends on the map. The lowest was on that island map that has a rainstorm and desert maps seem to run the best. I am kind of saddened by the sizes of the maps but the game is fun and amazing looking

When that rainstorm kicks up, it does a number on the frame rate
I am wondering if anyone else if having a problem with crashing after almost every other game it is getting annoying. I was thinking it was my RAM (4GB) but from what I can tell I am not running out.
Servers seems to be lagging more than even last night. Really annoying.
most 64 player servers have terrible rubber banding issues, some 48 player ones were running well today though.
Well I just found out 4GB of RAM is not enough just ran out when I was blowing up another helicopter
Looks like this game still has all kinds of issues and wasn't ready to be shipped. I'm gonna hold off buying it until they fix it.
Really? as far as BF game launches it seems pretty smooth. Server lag is the only issue so far and its only present in some places.

dice already confirmed it's the Dam and Golmud maps that are having huge lag and sound issues
I don't know what the hell they did but Dice managed to bork the 64bit battlefield, bad peformance and constant crashes yet the 32bit exe runs far better and has not crashed once, maybe a solution for a few of you?
The bizzare thing is that the 64bit Beta was perfectly fine :/
Runnign worse? Hell no, I am getting way higher fps than I was in the beta.
I am pretty amazed at how well it runs and how good the level design is. This is the game bf3 should have been imo.
That storm level is a blast one of hte best maps in years. I had WAY WAY more issues on launch with bf3 personally.
I have had a sound glitch on the Dam level and 2 crashes in 15 hours of play so far, besides those two issues its been fantastic, especially with how it runs compared to beta. I am getting close to double the FPS as I was in the beta (using the newest nvidia drivers that came out the other day).
