Alright, I'm convinced. Desktop it is. I'm just at the very initial steps of even considering, so I'm still trying to get a clear picture of what to expect. When I'm thinking of a new computer, what I have in mind is something that will be able to run Dragon Age 3 and The Witcher 3 at very high levels. Is it pointless, since the games aren't even out yet? Or is there a way of preparing, of anticipating the requirements for these two?
If it's possible to plan ahead of time, how much would such a computer cost? I'm an RPG fan. I'll probably play mostly those. Maybe some strategy games as well (StarCraft? Total War?). But still, I understand that games like The Witcher offer a competition to the top FPS games, in terms of system requirements?
Also, OldManWade, sorry if I'm hijacking your thread! I hope that these questions are relevant to you as well. I just don't want another thread about something so similar.
