Titan Quest is awsome. It's technically betetr than Diablo but it is a clone. but it's fully 3d photo realistic grahpics and the character system is betetr since you don't have to be a female if you wanna be a assassin(and it's only 20 bucks)Im looking for a diablo like experience.....but Im not sure what game to pick up. I fell asleep during the Titan Quest demo. The best Diablo clone i've heard is Sacred.Unstoppable_1
I almost finished titan Quest but had to re format so here I am again..lol...If you loke the NPC's in Diablo 2 your out of luck with Tian Quet..they are generic...With Dungeon siege 2 at least you can build a party.....Titan quest your it.....Nox was good..ttomm1946Um you can go online and a player can join your room or you can join theres, so why do you want a party? in RL you control one person cause it's easier that way, same thing with games.
i never played diablo...do u think i should buy it and play it , or a clone would do just fine?

Yeah you gotta play Diablo even today if you never played it you still will have fun.Play Divine Divinity or Arcanum. They both are like Diablo. Arcanum has some bugs though cuz it was made by Troika.stevo232345FINALLY someone mentions Divine Divinity! The word "clone" doesn't even come close to doing it justice. It has the same fast-paced, addictive gameplay that Diablo 2 had, and the same enormous smattering of gear and loot to be collected, but the story, characters and overall immersiveness absolutely kill Blizzard's title. In fact, I've been meaning to go back and play through it again myself. Look no further! And Arcanum is definitely a really great game, although it really doesn't fall in the same category as Diablo - more of a true RPG, I'd say. The character development system provides infinitely more opportunities than any other similarly-styled game. And like stevo pointed out, it is a bit buggy. Divine Divinity is probably what you're looking for, but give Arcanum a whirl if you happen to get tired of that. Cheers.
Guild Wars (the original and/or Nightfall)
Its certainly not a clone, the GW games are great games in their own right, but they are IMO the evolutionary next step up in the diablo series. I think this is the way to go.
One big difference between the 2 though.....success in the Diablo series often depends on the equipment you have and to a lesser extent on your skills, whereas....
in Guild Wars, success depends more on your skills and strategy (you have 8 to use at any time)Â and less on your equipment, especially since the high-end equipment is fairly even across the board.
Guild Wars is the spiritual successor to Diablo 2, despite some marked differences.
There has never been a better time to jump into Guild Wars then now, ArenaNet has made a lot of positive changes to the game since release.
