I'm sure dicussions like this have occurred before, but I'd like to just start a fresh one. Currently I have a 32" Samsung LCD HDTV (LN-T3253H) and I love it, all my 360 games look great on it. However, I may return it because I'm starting to think there may be a better 32" TV for gaming. Some have said Sharp is the best, some say Sony's the best, etc. I'd just like to get some opinions as to what you guys think is the best, or if there's no real noticable difference at all. My price limit is $1000, and 720p is just fine, I don't need 1080p. 32" -- no smaller, no bigger.

Once again, I want to know what's best for gaming. Thanks to everyone who can help me!

Personally for gaming i think Samsung is the best, i can't comment on the 32" Sharps but i had a Sony KDSL32000 before i bought the same tv you have and i got a great deal of image lag/ghosting while playing games on it. The Samsung is one of the best 32" out there.

Happy here with SHARP!!!!!

I have a SHARP AQUOS LCD 32" FULL HD, 1080p. and ITS AWESOME!!!!. I´m very happy with it and my PS3. The image quality is great. Besides 2 HDMI ports, and great sound. Running ridge racer 7, and ninja gaiden, gran turismo at 1080p, the image is awesome. and blu-ray movies are great!!!!! Image at 720p is also great!!!!!

Best investment I´ve done in years, I wanted another one for my room, but 32" models were sold out......planning to get the 37".

Go ahead with SHARP!!!! You won´t regret!!! The only thing its doesn´t have is a RGB port for PC monitor.

1080P really isn't needed at 32". To the OP if you think that your getting less than stellar picture quality from the Samsung let me know and i'll post my settings. This is one tv you really need to play with the settings to get it to look fantastic.

I just bought the 32" Sharp AQUOS today, it is a 720p, and gaming (Wii) is good on it, im very impress. I had to choose between the Sony and the Sharp. I think any of them will do.

i think samsung is the best because of high contrast ratios and low prices , and by the way , most of sony tv's i have seen have poor black levels , sony tv's are expensive for nothing.

Ive been looking at this samsung and the sharp mentioned, both look good.

When you say the samsung could be better for gaming do you mean you notice a bit too much lag? Thats my concern with it since its 8ms response time.

Iv just bought a 32 inch LCD, it has full HD, and is 1080P. I usually play call of duty 4 for the xbox 360 and Im wondering if anybody has the same size samsung, and can help me out to set my TV settings for the best picture possible for playing games. Also does anybody know if you can play 1080p on games with the normal xbox 360 instead of just 1080i.... or do you need an xbox 360 elite?

I recently bought a 32" samsung, the product code it LN32C530. I know this is a different TV that alot of you other samsung owners have but I wanted to warn future buyers of this tv. It has a poor response rate and because of that is flawed by heavy ghosting. I was attracted to this tv by its low price and apparantly good specs. It has 1080p and a 80k:1 contrast ratio. The main problem I have with this TV right now is the sound. When I'm playing my ps3 the sound will cut out very briefly (less than half a second) every few seconds. This model is very new and it is difficult to find review on it. (When I bought it from BestBuy it didnt have a rating yet because it was so new) I was going to get a different samsung 32" model that was about $100 more but they were out of stock. I'm going to be returning this TV next weekend because I feel that even though this TV is pretty cheap It is not worth the issues and is really not fit for gaming. If I can find the samsung model the previous posters have been recommending I will get that, otherwise I may look for the sharp aquos.

I hate people that say this. That depends on the persons viewing distance, not on you saying what you think is correct but means nothing when just written the way you did.

I would research the models you are looking at. Game mode does not mean NO input lag. Some HDTVs are good for gaming and some are terrible. Game mode is not a sign of "good for gaming". Testing is becoming more common but make sure the test is done with a CRT, not an LCD laptop. Those have lag too!
