I bought this popular 1066MHz G-Skill RAM a couple of weeks ago. To my disappointment, it does NOT run at the advertised speed with the listed timings. I tried every combination of voltages and settings possible, and I would either have to underclock it about 100MHz, or loosen the timings to 6-7-7-20. The lowest TRAS allowed by my motherboard is 32, so 5-7-7-20 did not work. The listed timings of 5-5-5-15 are actually meant for 800MHz, so it does overclock well for 800MHz RAM. Anyway, I sent it back for a full refund (Newegg even paid for the return shipping :D ) and bought this low voltage 1100MHz G-Skill RAM instead. It's running at 1120MHz with no problems (5-5-5-15). It's linked to my bus at a 5:6 ratio. It runs nice and cool, and I overclocked to 1150MHz @ 1.9v with no problems :) And so I don't get flamed, I'm running my CPU at 4.2GHz now until I get around to making a NB mount for this other D-Tek Fuzion 2 waterblock. I was running it @ 4.5GHz, but I don't want to run my NB @ 2000MHz 24/7 until it's watercooled. But to anyone in the market, I would definitely recommend the low voltage G-Skill RAM that I bought. It's even better than their new low voltage sets ;)

Good to know. I've been wanting to push my E2180 further than 2.85 GHz (the real problem is heat - using an intel quad-core heatsink), and could use something better than these Wintec AMPO sticks I have. I have an ASUS P5E X38, so I have some fantastic headroom that I'm not taking advantage of.

I'm glad I could help :) But I also wanted to let people know that the specs of the 1066MHz G-Skill RAM that I linked to are definitely overated. Especially since so many people seem to be buying them based on the listed specs....
