i bought a asrock970m pro 3 about 5 years ago but since i didnt have much time back then i left it in a box and never messed with it just recentely i got tired of my laptop barely making 20 fps running minecraft 1.0 using FLIPPING LINUX so i decided to repair my gaming desktop however after i installed the MOBO i pressed the power and the thing starts up the fans spin the hard drive starts and all the lights on the chassis come on i dont get a POST beep even when connecting speakers to the dang thing i tried clearing the CMOS with no avail changed hard drives graphics cars just in case my water cooled ASUS gaming series dual monitor card wasnt working for some reason and it STILL wont work anyone got any ideas?

@rex14rifle: Remove your video card and try connecting the monitor directly to the motherboard to see if the integrated graphics are working. If it is working, download and update your motherboard BIOS to the latest version. Install your video card again and connect the monitor to it. Your system should work fine then unless there is defective hardware.

Well if you don't have another video card, and you don't have onboard video...

You could try to get a live linux distro on a flash drive and see if you can SSH into it and debug that way.... Sounds like a long shot though.
