Arkham City, Deus EX: HR, Witcher 2, Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite or Tomb Raider

Witcher 2 - great branching story and visuals with decent combat

Deux Ex HR - some really good stealth gameplay and a decent story 

Batman - a big open city with loads of stuff to do and great combat 

I'd say all of those are worth playing apart from Crysis 3 which is basically just a tech demo with a really dull game underneath

Cross off Tomb Raider, was real dissapointing to me, Crysis3 was not as good as I expected either.

The rest are fantastic games, Batman AC is one of my fav games, Deus Ex HR was a ton of fun, Witcher2 was enjoyable and a good story and Bioshock Infiniite, while not perfect is a ton of fun aswell.

#1 Arkham City - rock-solid game with some of the generation's finest moments. Everybody should play this.

#2 Crysis 3 - as impressive as the original. Features some unique and highly atmospheric levels. You're kinda overpowered and the story is bullsh*t but it's one of the best shooters on the market.

#3 Deus Ex: HR - way too long and with very contrieved level design but the stealth and action are satisfying and it looks pretty good.

The rest would be:

BioShock Infinite - a poor shooter, very dumbed down compared to BioShock 2. A half-assed story. Elizabeth is rubbish. The non-combat sections and one very solid area towards the end are astonishing and well worth the price.

The Witcher 2 - excellent story sabotaged by a putrid imitation of Demon's Souls combat. On the visual side, it has nice fat textures but literally everything else is trash. There's way too much bloom, the engine doesn't seem to render anything more than five meters in front of you and the animations are stuck in 2002. While I appreciate pretty colours, I liked the first game's gritty styIe more.

Tomb Raider is just horrible but it looks pretty good.

#2 Deus EX: HR, very fun too it's just lacking some polish IMO.

#3 Bioshock Infinite, not better than the first 2 but it's still good, it's definitely pretty.

Infinite is great at atmosphere and artstyle, but under all that flair it's just another average, linear shooter. They should have just made a movie. Wasted my money on it.

Womb Raider was good, it's just way too easy and 'modernized'. They also completely dropped the ball with the pseudo-survival mechanics instead of having ACTUAL essential needs. Real survival mechanics would have worked so well. Should have had a hardcore mode where you need food and water.

And I haven't played Crysis 3. I absolutely hated 2, so I had no interest. Honestly the whole Crysis series is severely overrated, it's just graphics and not much else. The first one was the strongest and it was just average at best. I think if it weren't for the visuals, people wouldn't even pay it any mind.

i've only played crysis 3 out of the others and it was god awful. one of the most depressing, lacklustre games i've played in a long time. avoid

I can see the gameplay is lacking, but to say the story is "half-assed" is a bit over-the-top. It probably has some of the best writing in a game in several years.

I've only played Arkham City and Deus Ex Human Revolution out of those. Both were great games.

I can only recommend Arkham City out of all of those. Its more of the same from Asylum, only bigger - and that isn't bad at all. 

I haven't played Crysis 3 or Bioshock: Infinite yet, but I'd say Human Revolution, Arkham City than The Witcher 2 would be my listing.

Have to say Witcher 2, Arkham City and DE:HR.

Haven't started playing Bioshock Infinite yet.

1. Deus EX - I love stealth, tech and dystopian near futures, so this game is probably my favorite game ever. Jensen is probably my favorite playable character ever. I appreciate dialogue heavy action games that you can complete without killing anybody.
2. Witcher 2 - great adaptive story, tense gameplay, and wonderful graphics. Geralt is such an endearing protagonist, and the world he lives in feels authentic and fleshed out. I love games that treat you like an adult, and boy, this game does.
3. Bioshock Infinite - while the game gets top marks for storytelling and sense of place, the gameplay was just so-so to me. It's a ton of fun, but I just don't gravitate towards FPS-heavy gameplay. I also missed the hacking puzzles from the original.
4. Crysis 3 - While I love the pretty graphics and the ability to cloak, the story isn't anywhere nearly as deep as the previously mentioned games, and the FPS gameplay is pretty much the only aspect of this great but somewhat flawed shooter. I like more gameplay variety.
5. Batman - neat combat and open world, but I really hated the amount of puzzles hidden everywhere. I couldn't espcape the feeling that I hadn't found many of them, which is a nightmare for completionists like me. Great game, lots to see and do, but ancillary objective overkill from my perspective.

I can't comment on Tomb Raider, since I haven't played it. Looks like Uncharted, which was never one of my favorites.
