I'm currently looking for some good shooter demos, anything that I would want to look into it.

I've tryed the lost planet demo(Didn't work)

I do not want to try out F.E.A.R.

Any suggestions?

Stranglehold's demo isn't bad, and is decently long. Max Payne 2 has a great demo, albeit it's short.

I don't remember if GTA had a demo or not, but I seriously doubt that it did. I suggest you try out the Crysis demo as well. You can have some real fun with it.
