1080p is near useless below 40", the 37" 1080p sets are just gimmicks, they might have 1080p capability but good luck seeing it.  As for the Westinghouse in particular, it's a monitor so there are no internal HD tuners.  If you want to watch HDTV you would have to get a box...

That's a great 1080p Monitor. I take issue with those who claim 1080p isn't important on sub 40" monitors. That's their opinion though. The only issue with that monitor is that it is a 1000:1 contrast monitor. That's good, but their are better out their. They also cost more though. You can't go wrong with that monitor.

no actually 1080p is easily seen on somthing as small as 24 inches you must be blind that is a great price but from what iv seen of westing house at friends or in store they have bad colors and short life span

I disagree. Well for the most part anyways. If you are sitting 10' away or more, then yeah you wont notice much difference, but closer you will notice the difference, I do anyways.

Seems pretty good, the only drawback is the fact that it doesn't have an HDTV tuner. Otherwise, thats probably one of the best prices i have seen for a 1080p tv.
