Hi,

Can I run the new Amnesia game on a GT 520 1GB GPU?

My res is 1920x1200. Plenty of ram and a decent i5 CPU.

Thanks.

Well i dont think amniesia is a terribly difficult game to run but I think you still need a decent rig to run it nice and GT 520 dosent seem up to. If it were a GTX something than yeah but GT20 dosent look like its good for playing current games games.

I was asking specifically about Amnesia, not modern games in general. I know it isn't a gaming card. My other specs are 8gb of RAM and an i5 661 3.3Ghz CPU. I used to have a GTX 660 and all the games I tried, including BF3, were running great, so the CPU gets the job done, and so I only need to know whether that GPU is enough at 1200p. Thanks.

Forget that systemrequirements nonsence, you should rip through that game pretty good at 1080p.

By comparison, your GTX 660 was at least 4 times more powerful than your current 520. I guess you will experience a FPS around 20-40, which is not something I would game on but for some people it doesn't really matter.

Now I am not so sure about getting the game... 20 fps is terrible, especially when there's a monster chasing me.
