My kindle fire hd overheats and crashes when playing games, apparently this is a fault. It is within the 1 year guarantee. Can I demand a refund or can amazon choose to refund the money, repair or replace it?

Of course you are entitled to an RMA but it'll up to the retailer what action they take I imagine.

I'm assuming replace or repair. I'll just try selling it if they give you a new one.

If you're within 1 yr guarantee then you should be able to get it replaced for a new one. You won't get a refund though.

I suspect they will repair or replace it. Maybe if it keeps happening, then you can get a refund after the third time.

You'll never know if you don't ask. Contact amazon's customer service via email or chat and ask if they would be willing to extend the return policy for the item, they've done it for me.

Amazon is great at replacing your items. I had a friend that had the fire, she called the send her a box to put it in, and send her a brand new updated one. Amazon rocks, and stands behind their product.
