Please recommend some RPGs, you know, good ones that you like.

No MMO's I hate them, yes, even WoW. Warcraft is a strategy game to me, I played 1 & 2 to death.

No Dragon Ages, just no.

Here's what I already have:

Drakensang Complete

NeverWinterNights 1 & 2 all expanions

Icewind dale 1 & 2

All Baldur's gates

The Temple of Elemental Evil

Torchlight 1 & 2

Diablo 2

spell force (I don't like it)

Titian Quest

Planescape Torment

Any sugestions?

I enjoyed the Geneforge games. The graphics turn a lot of people off, but I really enjoyed the world the developer created.

I second this list, especially if you want a more modern game - Fallout New Vegas is incredible.

If you like action games too, you might want to look into the Darksiders games too. I just finished the first one today and liked it. The ending has me really excited to play part two.

The Witcher and The Witcher 2 are essential, as are Fallout: New Vegas and Bastion.

Not it doesn't. In many aspects it's actually better than the second. I enjoyed them both equally.

I couldn't even make it through the first one.  It seemed to me like a boring fencing simulator.

The second one is one of my favorite games of all time though.

Here's my recommandations of awesome RPGs that i love playing.

  1. Some newer ones (2010 - 2012)
  • Legend of Grimrock
  • Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga
  • Mount & Blade: Warband with the Prophesy of Pendor for SP, and cRPG for MP
  • Fallout: New Vegas

    2.  And some older ones - ask me for mods if you're interested in any of these.

  • Gothic 3 with the community patch (2006, not that old, but not that new either, still looks good)
  • Arcanum of Steamworks and Magicka
  • Icewind Dale: Complete
  • Fallout 1 & 2
  • Vampire the Masquarade: Bloodlines

TBH, I also didn't enjoy the first Witcher much but the second one really got me into it.

If u love a great story, you have to play Kotor 1 and 2. Kotor 2 is probably my favorite rpg ever. Just give the games some time, at first I couldnt get into them, but after coming back to them, i ended up loving them, i replay them almost every year.

1. Legend of Grimrock looks awesome.

I've seen Divinity on sale, I'll look more into it.

I might give a M & B game a try, just not any time soon.

Fallout New Vegas I beat and all the expansions. I don't like how you are sometimes forced to shoot women.

2.

Gothic 3 was interesting but I like character customization, I still might play it, it is supposed to be open-ended like an elder scroll,

Arcanum is on my GoG wish list

   Already have Ice Wind Dales

The older Fallouts look interesting, I often wonder how they are.

Not touching the Vampire game with a ten foot pole.

There's this game called "Fate" which is like Torchlight, some of the same guys made it. Does anyone know if it will work on Windows 7?

Let's just say these are some of the only true roleplaying games out there.  You don't want to miss out on either.
