Is there any way to get a log of every time a file is accessed? I have a Word file that I only want me accessing and I want to get a log of every time it's been opened because I think someone might have opened it so I want to check.

Thanks

you can go to wherever you saved it, like my documents, mouse over it, and see what the last modified date is. that's the last time anything was changed on it.

Microsoft Windows XP home users

  1. Select the folder you wish to encrypt.
  2. Right-click the folder and click Properties.
  3. Click the Sharing tab.
  4. Check the box Make this folder private
  5. Click Apply and then Ok.

the "folder link" will take you to a site with more info on doing this. It was faster to google it than type it :)

Pretty sure there are programs to monitor your PC. Or you can set an admin password to log in.
