8800gt to gtx 260??

A few months ago my 8800gt packed in, so now i'm wanting to buy a new card. Can only afford the gtx 260 since prices in south africa are high!!! Grrrrrrrr.. The 8800 gt gave me about 28-35 frames in crysis with high/some medium settings. What can i espect from this little ole card?..

If there something better in more or less the same price range, please let me know. Thanx

I would take a look at the HD4870.

overclock your 8800 gt and your cpu, what is your processor? because i get 29-40 with my 8800 gt on all high.

Uhm its a intel +4400 duo core, the thing is i'm not upgrading my graphics card, it broke. I'm buying a completely new one, so what will give me the best frames for my res??

what ur budget ? il give my opinion like i made mine for nehalem future build in a thread wiating opinion i wrote down pretty big stuff even if it take me only 1 minute and half to read what people say when it take like 5 paragraph of 5 Lines of word.
i read fast & type fast sometime it why i lack strucutre in my word. it a imperfection of word at the cost of reading fast
but i adpated my strucutre month by month to my speed i get better as ESL so if you got a budget.
il give my point of view even anna can tell you that i saw previous of her post she know lot about pc.
