I try and sign up to the beta...as i need hte professional version for my IT coursework, but it seems to always think that my "title" box is never filled in so i can never get the beta...does anybody know why this is doing this or if you have had a simaler issue?

MSDN supplied different versions, and some aren't very stable. Technet supplies some as well, did you follow their beta tester procedure when Office 2007 was released in beta? I would consult the MS website and look for a different beta version with a stable CVS branch.
