Guys just a quick question !!!

I am planning to spend 130 dollars to purchase to graphics card and my budget is around 140$. My old hd7850 2 gb is finally died on me last month so i want to know that my upgradation from hd7850 2gb to EVGA GeForce GTX 950 2GB SSC worth it ?

(I am getting EVGA GeForce GTX 950 2GB SSC for 131 $ )

My Rig

I3 2120

8GB graphics

Its a slight upgrade around 20% on average.

@Hashim19: 40fps vs 60fps on BF3 with OC you'll get another 10fps on BF3

It's about 60-70% upgrade in performance.

BTW 550Watt is over the top for i3 and GTX950 - it's Maxwell architecture which saves alot of power.

@Hashim19: If you are not in a hurry, RX470 will soon be released and probably GTX1050 too.

AMD Radeon RX 470 available August 4th

The average performance jump from 7850 could be around double FPS (cause R9 270 from the charts its a 7870)...

But I would strongly recommend to wait for non-reference cards...

ps: The price should be $150 according to rumors...

@Hashim19: Definitely wait for the RX 470, and consider upgrading to an i5 2500k, i7 2600k, i5 3670k, or i7 3770k in the future.
