So I want a laptop that can run games at good setting for around $700-800 are there any out there? I want something that is light and portable but I also want one that doesn't get too hot when doing browsing but I am ok with it getting hot when playing games. Any recommendations?

All laptops will get hotter when playing game, you just need to elevate them a bit if possible.

As for gaming laptops, choose from these brands:

- Alienware

- ASUS Gaming Range

- MSI Gaming Range

You're gonna need closer to $1,200 for a laptop that can run games at "good settings". Try ASUS, MSI, or Sager.
