So I bought this 32" 144Hz VA panel after my 27" 144Hz TN Acer LCD started going nuts, and malfunctioning. and my thoughts on it are mostly positive.

It must be fairly heavily calibrated, has a bit too much red out of the box, but looks great once it has been.

It's brightness is 300cd/m2 which is not quite as bright as my TN panel, but still good.

The response times are very very good, but really only with bright colors/situations, with dark colors/situations, motion blur is quite noticeable. Is that normal for VA panels?

Light situations look nice, bright and vivid, and dark ones look REALLY dark! like pitch black almost.

Viewing angles are real good too. Looks like they tried to keep color distortion seems to a minimum.

Overall, I really like this monitor, looks amazing, it's curved, and huge! And not super expensive.

Nice. I never considered getting a curved monitor, but good to hear you're liking it. It's a lot cheaper compared to the monitors that I'm looking at the moment.

The curvature of the monitor kinda helps further limit viewing angle color/brightness distortion I noticed.

va panels are supposed to be better at ghosting/blur vs ips panels, but ive seen some comments on the internet wher the blur on va panels was not much better than ips. if you can find any reviews for your monitor from a trusted source maybe they can offer some solutions.

The curved monitors are awesome and it does make a difference. I have an older 34" LG curved ultrawide 3440x1440 myself but unfortunately it is not a 144hz panel...didn't exist at the time for the style monitor. The curve on the ultrawides does help keeps things in your vision. I got it a few years ago when it first came out. Was quite spendy at the time about $1200 but prices have come way down.

Another thing I want to add, I noticed on my own that the monitor seems to respond extremely fast to input, and then I read some reviews that said the input lag on this monitor is below 5ms.

I tried out curved 65+ inch TVs at Best Buy. They looked weird. No matter what distance I stood at, the middle looked smaller and more distant.

I dunno, the curve on this display looks great. Except now when I look at a flat monitor, it looks like it's curved in the opposite direction LOL

have you stood at the proper spot on a curved and taken a look?

once in the right angle it really is pretty awsome
