Around half a year ago, my main PC with an i7-3770 equivalent Xeon died, and I replaced it with a Z170 mobo with an i7-6700 (I stick with non-K variants because I don't overclock, and they're cheaper.), but just a few weeks later, the 8th gen i7s were released. Up until this point, intel's performance never increased so dramatically between iterations. Am I missing anything being stuck with this 6th gen i7, or is it still considered "good" for PC gaming?
