A beast of a price as well :D but you can't really complain much for packing beast GPU, beast CPU, that much of storage and RAM, you can always do a comparison to small form factor PC with the same specs but I doubt you'll find AIO PC with such specs - and with thin design as well.

Can't you build a PC with an i9 7980XE, 128GB of DDR4-3200, 4TB 850 evo with a 16GB AMD Vega for around $8k?

I get it if you want an AIO, but man that is some hefty dough.

You can build a 22 core Xeon with Dual Vega Pro 16GB cards and a 1TB 960 Pro with a 4TB 850 SSD with a 32" 4K Dell... For 12K.

That 40% apple premium still hasn't changed.

@Grey_Eyed_Elf: Can't do in within AIO for factor, or can you? of course there's the Apple branding right there and I'm sure if any other big brand will do so it'll cost about 10K and not 13K

@PredatorRules: Yeah, if I really needed 18 cores for content creation, I don't know why I would pay such a premium for an imac form factor. It's not like I plan to lug the thing around with me.

That's the kind of money I find in my couch.

I wish Apple would make a beefed up Mac Mini with those specs. I'm not a fan of the integrated screen though.

@PredatorRules: Don't think so... I guess that's the main appeal really. That being said I have systems built for photography and video editing at work they are stationary, have never been moved so personally I don't see why you would pay the premium for a AIO especially with huge price premium.
