Fake GPU's is a thing apparently

Yup, it appears gpu's are being reflashed and sold as something else, never fear techpowerup is here with a new gpu-z that will expose this scam.

so if you are buying used gpu's be on the look out.

Ive known about those for years. Avoid sites like ebay and overseas based ones, with unnamed generic gpus.

GPU is one thing I don't really like buying used anyway... Still good thing this though.
