Bluetooth adapter for a PS4 controller?

To connect a PS4 controller wirelessly to a desktop PC, with no built in Bluetooth, do you have to get one of the Playstation brand Dualshock 4 bluetooth adapters that are like $50-$60, or will any Bluetooth 4.0 adapter work? Anyone wanna recommend a cheap one that they know works well?

You can buy any bluetooth adapter, as cheap as 5$ eBay one as long as the connection is alright.
