Your next portable coputer?

when it's time for me to get a new portable computer (hopefully not for 3-4 years) I gotta say, i'm going with a tablet.
fits me because i don't use my laptop for gaming, or really, anything but taking notes and watching movies on trips.
all my serious computing gets done on my desktop pc btw.
what do you guys think your next portable computer will be?

Probably this year or next year I am going to start really looking into a new laptop. I am not interested in tablets or netbooks.

Is coputer a new apple product? I kid I kid :P

Anyway, no, I wont be getting a portable computer any time soon.

A laptop in the fall, I think.
If it holds some interest for me, an NGP might be the next after that, if that counts.

I just got a new laptop a few months ago. I don't really like those underpowered tablet computers and netbooks. I will probably get a new laptop when this one is badly outdated in a few years.

Yeah, just because a PC is a desktop doesn't mean it isn't portable. It just means it takes a bit more to move it from room to room or building to building. ;)

I probably won't be looking for a new laptop for another two years... I use my desktop and just got a new one few weeks ago. I know for sure though, my next computer will be a laptop to replace my current laptop. Tried the iPad not to crazy about it, my iPhone does everything I need to do on the go, and netbooks never really got my attention.

I'm probably going to get a new laptop this summer . Going to avoid hp like the plague though , i've never had so many issues with a computer that;s not even a year old .raiden509

Good call. I've had two HP computers die on me a month after the warentee expired.

Got a new one about 6 months ago but if the razr switchblade gets released I will but that asap.

That's a good choice. I have the same model, but in black and I love it. 10x better than my old hp laptop. Looks really smexy in white.

looks like laptops win easily, glad to see people are staying away from net books at least.
