For those who don't know or maybe weren't even born 1995-2004 marked a era in popular culture called Y2K aesthetic named after the computer bug that some people where freaking out over I assumed all of you know what it is so I wouldn't go into detail. Anyways between these years 95-04 there was a culture shift from fashion to design the look had a interesting vibrate futuristic style to it from computers to fashion and even shapes mostly looked like blobs also translucent stuff was popular at this time from consoles to computers etc chrome color was big too.... I love the look it definitely brings back nostalgia but I can see why people would hate it where do you stand?

Here are some pics of Y2K aesthetic.

I didn't know it had a name. I guess I like it, mostly for the nostalgia. I don't really understand the PS2 commercial.

Gonna log in to altavista and hack the internet once the dial up is done. *frantically types 200 miles an hour*

Asthetic wise, alot of stuff we thought was cool back then, has aged like milky cringe. Which fine with, love abit of cringe, gives good vibes about ye old days.

I Know exactly what you mean, I just never realized there was an actual name for it.

All that colorful plastic though! Wowza!

Yeah, here's really good video explaining it and going more into detail about it.

Yeah it looks cringy, but I'm sure some young cool celeb will dig this up and it will become fashionable again someday.

Late 90s were great. So much positivity and hope for the future.
