That is stupid....
So doctors prescribed him medical marijuana, he can't get a transplant? That is freaking retarded and soooo wrong....
That's America for you.Deity_Slapper
tldr?
The drugs patients take to help their bodies accept a new organ increase the risk of aspergillosis, a frequently fatal infection caused by a common mold found in marijuana and tobacco.

lulz theres prolly more to it then the story shows, from what i know about transplant committees (especially liver ones) you have to do somethen really serious to get denied for your first liver, ive seen examples of alcoholics and hepC patients getting multiple livers so either this story is just a single bad example or just not the whole story, lulz

What's tldr?
And I don't buy that for one second. Cannabis has killed 0 people in the history of life, so if this mold is such a frequent killer, it's not doing it's job of killing very well. Sounds like an excuse. This also isn't the first time medical marijuana patients have been denied health care, government benefits, or things like loans and scholarships. If you study the issue some more, you'll notice the prejudice that is being practiced against people who have a fondness for the fluffy green herb.
Also, did you read the sentence directly after the one you posted? Hmmm?
