Would you want a Zelda, Metroid or Metal Gear anime?

Not BS like the Zelda cartoon.

I think these series have potential. Maybe Kid Icarus too.

Nahh, I like to keep my anime and my games separate. If anything making a game out of an anime is acceptable, but the other way around it would have to be really well made for me to be interested although I've seen some entertaining ones that worked =)

Metal Gear is the only one of those that even has a chance of working as an anime.

A Zelda anime would be really cool, if done right. The manga set by Akira Himekawa was great, so maybe if they wrote the show it could also be great. Each season would be a different game.

Metroid could also be cool, but the issue is that I think they'd have to put too much story into it simply because the stories of Metroid tend to be minimalist. I could see it working as a very short series.

Metal Gear Solid seems like it'd be the most well suited to the anime format since there's always big fights and the plot is twisty and stuff.

Metal Gear already is an anime in terms of tone, story and characterization.

Metroid would be really boring.

Zelda would probably be the only one that could realistically be adapted. It has strong lore and background that could make any story possible.

If I had to choose from those three, I would pick Metroid. Otherwise, it would have to be Chrono Trigger with art by Akira Toriyama.

Anime based on video games do not work well from what I have seen; worse than anime based on manga.

Easily Metal Gear, hell it already has anime like elements to it ninjas, characters with supernatural traits, long spanning stories, action, and of course the Beauty and the Beast unit.

As far as I know, Zelda still has a very good reputation.

why would we need a Metal Gear anime, the games are basically like movies as is

a Metroid anime might be cool, that's a license that could use some more depth and story
