There's a difference between saying "You're gay and saying "Eww... You're gay."

The first one is pointing out that somebody is homosexual, the second is implying that the speaker has a problem with homosexuality. I detest the latter.

I don't get though why some people don't like gays and then someone finds out then they are sent to treatment so they won't be a homophobe. Isn't it your opinion that you like gays or not? Not that I am saying I don't like them or not, I don't have any problems.
