My personal opinion is that if you practice something enough you'll become good at it or at least thats how i feel about myself. I just realized this is something a 5th grade gym teacher would say.
back about 10 years ago a friend of my father was supposedly interested in making me go play tennis he even suggested the jersey i was prepared and excited in learning tennis, but it never really happened the friend's brother turned it down before even making me touch a racket. and even back before that i was about to enter in cricket but that failed too. i could have great in tennis. no.3ambitiousknightI figure even after decades of support, lessons, hand puppets, and physical violence some men still treat oral sex with their wives as a pie eating contest. What do you think?

I think that with enough effort and prayer to the prostitute butt gods we can make old man be good as young man as the details entail in the nudity of the female anatomy with the sports winning as is usual in my religion.ChampionoChumpsdont forget, good athletes love to move to the western world and get drunk while eating egg cake in jail

dont forget, good athletes love to move to the western world and get drunk while eating egg cake in jail refer to previous threads by the same TC and you'll understand it very well :P[QUOTE="wis3boi"][QUOTE="ChampionoChumps"]I think that with enough effort and prayer to the prostitute butt gods we can make old man be good as young man as the details entail in the nudity of the female anatomy with the sports winning as is usual in my religion.Nibroc420

A couple of things and for different reasons.
When I was really young, I was pretty talented at tennis; i'd give my coach who was regional champion a good game and I was only 9 but I ended up giving it up because I was young and an idiot. I've picked it up again recently and i'm not bad but 20 is a bit late to be going anywhere.
I also realised I was good at sprinting and could do 100m in 11.3 seconds when I was around 14 but I injured my knee and i'm still trying to recover from the knee now.
No way, not even close. I've played golf for 20 years and I'm moderately good at it, broke par a few times. I've got a single-digit handicap, which I guess puts me in the top 3%. But that's a thousand miles away from being "good" in a professional sense. Most professional caddies could beat me by ten shots in 18 holes.
I used to play a lot of basketball and wasn't too bad at it. A few people encouraged me to try out for the school teams, but it wasn't something I had the confidence to do and eventually I stopped playing that much... I guess it's my own fault, but I don't care too much now since I don't want to play organized sports anymore.
as long as your not born with some sort of disability if you were to dedicate your life to hockey or basketball or football then im sure that you could definately end up being successfull, the amount of success would depend on your level of commitment
knee injuries will unfortunately plague anyone for their whole life depending on how bad it isA couple of things and for different reasons.

I played soccer from about the time I was 4 until I was 18. If I would have practiced more, maybe I could have made something of it, but I was happy just playing for school/youth clubs.
I'd say sports is just like intelligence. You can learn up to your maximum ability, but some people are just better for no other reason than genetics. Their body build, the way they think about the game, the way their reflexes trigger to adapt to something new, the way they can see something play out before it does. You can't really teach that. I think its amazing that some people are as good at any sport as they are.
Me, I've never had the drive. I do well academically without trying too hard so I never really enjoyed trying in a sport. The games were fun, but I hated the commitment, practice after practice over and over. I don't think its fun doing anything outside of the competition, that's where the adreniline is. I think if I stuck with soccer, lacrosse, or tennis I'd be pretty damn good but I never wanted to put the effort in.
[QUOTE="DarthJohnova"]knee injuries will unfortunately plague anyone for their whole life depending on how bad it is Aye, my knee alignment is ****ed. Hell i can't lift any weights on my quads. BTW your sig is incredible, it has all the best characters, I approve :PA couple of things and for different reasons.
