Gotta get mine out today  great fun. Oh well, I got two new games for when I recover enough to at least do that. Anyway, at what age did the rest of you get yours out (if you did) and how was it?

Yeah, my top ones are like that, and he said my bottom ones are just a risk of infection and messing up what my braces did. I think he's actually cutting mine out though, rather than pulling them, but I'll be out so I guess I won't know for sure.

I haven't had my wisdom pulled but I did have one of my back molars cut out. Apparently it chipped then decayed etc... I really wasent in all that much pain afterwards.. But it was pretty ugh sucky to have them yanking at it and moving it around then drilling and cutting.. It took them 30mins to pull that one tooth...

I'm diabetic and that effects your teeth, believe it or not I've had every single tooth out and now have dentures and I'm only 21, so don't worry if it hurts remember there's always someone worsr off than yourself! Good luck!

Be sure the dentist gives you a prescription for a good pain killer.

And keep on the alert for dry socket.  That's a lot of fun

Well everything went great and I'm already back to posting on gamespot and about to play my 360, and I've only been out of the surgeons office about 6 hours. My jaw's still pretty sore and my mouth is full of gauze but I really feel fine.

I never had to have mine pulled because when I was 15, I had 4 adult teeth pulled because I had to have braces put in. So when they finally came in, there was no need to remove them

I got mine during the last Christmas break.  It was not horrible I only had 3.  They weren't impacted (?) so it took them 20 minutes to do and I did not get all puffy.  They conciously sedated me so I felt the initial shots into my pallete (as soon as they connected the IV to me the wall infront of me started to twist and turn and the pictures began moving up and down).

A friend of mine and my cousin suffered however.  They had to have a drill used to get the teeth out and they looked like chipmunks on super pain medication (Vicodin) which made them feel "special."  Since they cut my teeth out I got a weaker "Lorcet" which did nothing for pain...  but I didn't want to feel "special" anyways.

The friggen stitches were painful though.

I got mine out in December (I was fifteen at the time). I got five out. It really was not that bad, and I chose to not take any pain meds. It's just annoying having to ice so much. The pain is not bad. Just go home and go to sleep to get rid of the remnants of that general anesthesia. But what infuriated me was not being able to eat solid foods for a while. Good luck with that.

I got mine out at 21.  It wasn't that bad during the operation.  I was awake during the surgery, so I could feel them pulling and cracking my teeth.  The bad part about the whole thing was that I've had recurring loss of feeling in my lower left jaw since the surgery.

Good luck.

Gears of War and Oblivion. I just got my 360 so that only puts me up to 3 games for it but still.

I just remember when they put the antidepressants in me through the IV first and then they started knocking me out. I may have gone out laughing. I am not sure.
