Will all and any life in our universe always consider the universe as BIG?

Considering the constraints our universe has, do you think it's safe to assume that even the most advanced and developed planets or lifeforms out in the universe are still constrained by their gravitational field, sources of energy (food, water, fuel, etc), and everything else us humans have discovered to be predictable facts of the universe. Do you think that our universe will always be "big" in comparison to the life that lives within it? I think we are special, mostly because of our self-awareness in a universe that was nothing but a ball of energy many centuries ago.

No, I think the most advanced lifeforms view us as a reality TV show like Jersey Shore for the Lolz.

Well according to Men In Black, our universe could be the size of a marble.

No one knows, but if I had to take a guess, I would think that there aren't any species in the universe more developed than humans are. That's what I would like to believe at least.

Considering the vast expanse of the universe, to answer the poll, probably not. I'm willing to bet there are much more advanced life somewhere in the universe.

Watch this and tell me you don't find it likely that there is life somwhere else: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=17jymDn0W6U

I just don't see how anyone can deny those numbers.

Eh, maybe we are the most advanced race of beings. Perhaps we are so advanced, that Earth is an experiment for the people deemed unintelligent on a host planet. Perhaps, I've had a couple drinks, and am talking non-sense.

I think it's quite unlikely that we're the most advanced speceis in the universe.

seeing as the universe is the biggest thing known to exist..... yes it will always be considered big because eveyrthing else is smaller than it.... though that is a fairly dubious claim at best.

Well when I say BIG I mean, will life everywhere always be wondering if they are alone in the universe? Like in a billion years would traveling to another galaxy be easy and thus make the universe seem smaller? That's what I'm asking. And I hinted in my OP that I think the universe will always be BIG because of the laws of physics that govern it. But then you see that there is "math" behind proving the existence of wormholes and other weird sci-fi phenomenons, it makes me wonder how close we are to knowing something huge or if anyone else out there already knows how to warp the universe.

Absolutely nothing. That's why it's a guess.

Being that we are relatively new life forms (in the grand sheme of things), it is natural for us to view the universe as massive, like when you saw your dad's penis in the shower when you were 4.

The cat saw it I believe. He reported it to his direct supervisor but didn't take any further action.

There could be other galaxies teeming with life on every planet but the universe itself is seemingly infinite...So yea, it's big.

The universe is wide and big. However, I can never really "comprehend" how big, it is merely an abstract to me.

First we'll have to explore our entire galaxy. Then explore all other galaxies. Then explore other universes. Maybe then we'll finally realize how big this sack o' marbles is. :P

Were still throwing dead dinosaurs into our cars to make them go. I think we got a ways to go before we become advanced.

We're more advanced than those idiot dolphins that don't use any dinosaurs to move. Idiots.

Not until we ever reach the end of it.
