Why Hip Hop / Rappers always get shot in a drive-by shooting ?

Latest news being another Hip Hop / Rap artist Monatae " M-Bone " Talbert gets fatally shot in a drive by shooting .

My question is why Hip Hop artists always getting shot and that too always in a drive - by shooting??? ( Tupac Shakur , Notorious B.I.G , Big L ETC ) . Is it something to do with ego rivalry and jealousy between east coast and west coast musicians ?

I love Hip Hop / Rap Music and artists, But i feel very sad to see Hip Hop artists always getting Shot :(

Always? Not quite. Out of the thousands of hip-hop artists out there very few have been shot. As for those that have: just look at their background and lifestyle. Most of these ones were involved in gangs and kept up that involvement throughout their career.
