I remember seeing him and his cat Azrael in varous epsodes fantasizing over the deliciousness of Smurfs, but if not one of them ate any, how can they know they taste so well?vlin1108
I've never eaten a lobster, but I've certainly heard that they are delicious.
Maybe it's the same with Gargamel. Maybe he was reading about how delicious Smurfs are, and just wants to taste some for himself.

Here's a link to wiki. I don't know how much is true but it says, "Sometimes he wants to eat the Smurfs, other times he wants to use them to make gold, and still other times he has even more bizarre uses for them (in one instance he is so enraged by his loss that he yells "I don't want to eat them, I don't want to turn them into gold, all I want now is to DESTROY THEM!")."
Satanic if you ask me
I drool when thinking about Smurfette, so it makes perfect sense that Gargamel does the same.
You do know Smurfette is a dude, right? How do you figure? She was created by Gargamel from what I remember. Vanity is a dude.[QUOTE="vlin1108"]I remember seeing him and his cat Azrael in varous epsodes fantasizing over the deliciousness of Smurfs, but if not one of them ate any, how can they know they taste so well?MrGeezer

Smurfs are not as common as lobsters though. For all we know, only he and a few other people are aware of the Smurfs' existence. Still, it just might be true.
Smurfs are the secret ingredient in Viagra.
Hence.. .the little BLUE pill.
Gargamel has erectile dysfunction.

flazzle
How was Smurfette created and what is she made of?
Smurfette was made in the wizard Gargamel's laboratory. She was created by a magical potion. Her list of ingredients include: "Sugar and spice but nothing nice...A dram of crocodile tears...A peck of bird brain...The tip of an adder's tongue...Half a pack of lies, white, of course...The slyness of a cat...The vanity of a peacock...The chatter of a magpie...The guile of a vixen and the disposition of a shrew...And of course the hardest stone for her heart...."
I do not see any lady parts in her creation, and if Gargamel is making women he needs to make a human woman and get laid.

Since it has to be a kid's show, they had to use different words. Think of a different word for cat.
Also, I don't see eyes and arms and legs and head and hair and tail mentioned either, but we know Smurfette has those too, thus she can have body parts not explicitly mentioned. Thus, the power of magic

Hahaha that made me laugh. I guess I have to reconsider Smurfette's biology.
