Why does everyone love Seth Rogen?

I don't hate him, and I love his movies. But he seems real popular right now and seems like his movie go no wrong or something. But why does everyone else like him, and find him funny?

He is just another actor to me.

He's just the average pot-smoking shmoe who can act. A lot of people can relate to that, or know people who are relatable to that, and that adds something more personal to films. Personally, I like him a lot but I think the amount of movies he's starred in recently is overkill for his career - that and the fact that he plays almost the same role in every one of his movies. Observe and Report was a nice change though, watch that movie if you had any doubt aboutthe guy'sacting ability.

I'm indifferent towards him. Don't really have anything against the man, but I also wouldn't be upset if he never was in another movie again.

He doesn't make me laugh.

I don't like him. This little family guy skit will explain why:

Doctor: I'm going to inject you with what we think is the Seth Rogen gene...

Peter: What's that?

Doctor: It will give you the appearance of being funny without actually saying anything funny... *injects Peter*

Peter: *in Seth Rogen's voice* Alright, gotta go and have a few beers with the fellas and get ready for my date!

Doctor: Heh! You're so charming and chubby! I'm rooting for you!

I think he's pretty funny, but I've never seen any of his movies.

My reason is because he doesn't do too much out of the norm. It's all relevant to daily life. Also because he's a bit of a big kid.

I haven't really watched his movies, only seen parts of Knocked Up and found him unfunny and rather bland... But I think he's in Pineapple Express that I'm planning to see, so I'll keep an open mind about his acting ability...

I guess a lot of people like him because they do find him funny and he has a bit of that underdog adorableness that people like?

I thought he was a waste of money until I saw Zack and Miri. He impressed me in that.
