[QUOTE="AngelNeo00"]Try watching Fox news if you want to see people hate on democrats.BMD004The difference is this. Turn on Fox News, and people are mad at Obama for being "socialist", too "far left", etc. Turn it on MSNBC and people are busy calling Republicans "tea baggers", calling Palin stupid and an idiot, etc. I find that the left often attacks Republicans personally... and it's not nice. Attacking policy and political stances is fair game.
Thats what I hate. I never see clips of someone from MSNBC on youtube saying rude things towards republicans even though thats all MSNBC does is say rude things, but I constantly see clips of people from fox news on youtube and everyone is just blindly hating on them. MSNBC is the worst, but it seems acceptable for them to hate which is sad.

Perhaps you should start posting MSNBC clips. There's certainly nothing wrong with pointing out inaccuracies and/or lies in media.[QUOTE="AngelNeo00"]Try watching Fox news if you want to see people hate on democrats.BMD004The difference is this. How is accusing Obama of not being born in the US, attacking his choice of Church, and accusing him of being muslim a few times a week not personal attacks?
And Sarah Palin IS an idiot.

Questioning Obama's place of birth, although proven to be dumb, isn't a personal attack. Attacking his choice of church BECAUSE of who the pastor is and what that man says, is not a personal attack. I have never heard anybody at Fox claim that Obama is still a Muslim. When have you heard anybody at Fox call Obama stupid? That is what they do over on MSNBC. They will attack a policy... but then say the reason they believe that is because they are stupid. Example: Republicans believe in small government because they are stupid and think that works. They want small government because they are racist and don't want poor people to get benefits." If you attack the policy, like small government, then just attack the policy... don't use the reasoning that they are stupid and racist and that only a smart non-prejudiced person would think like a liberal. And seriously, I can't believe the term "teabagger" is constantly used on MSNBC. And that is a credible news source?[QUOTE="xLFTMx"][QUOTE="BMD004"]The difference is this. Democrats attack Republicans (just like Republicans attack Democrats) because they are in a huge competition to see who can be the most unprincipled party and still get the nomination. Unfortunately, both sides are winning.
Now, if you are talking Liberal vs Conservative then that is a different story. At least those words have some kind of meaning to them.

It is to some lesser extent like how some believe groups in Asia and Africa are holding outdated beliefs unfit for the current political climate.

I hate both sides equally. Bipartisan politics doesn't really work very well... Washington was right.

There are current perspectives that are more accepted right now such as democracy, etc...
Things change and there are some ideas that will not be as popular in our era. Namely, conservative viewpoints that may have been more popular in the last century; dictatorships that are increasingly intolerated as a method of government...

I dont hate republicans, but michel bachmann is just terribleIt's sickening. People constantly say bad things about every single one of them, I hear people bash Michele Bachmann like crazy, why is this?? It's like if your not a liberal and you don't like Obama, everyone views you as the enemy.

I do watch Fox news but when I'm on the internet it's like it's the cool thing to do to hate on republicans.
Republicans haven't found their way to the internet yet. Right now the Dems are fully utilizing the tool, thats probably why you see them so active. You wanna know why we hate the Republicans!? Well ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THEIR RICH FRIENDS and the top 2 percent of the entire freaking COUNTRY! And they wanna DEFAULT THE ENTIRE COUNTRY and put the blame on Obama! Those PRICKS needs to grow the hell up and start taxing the **** out of the rich!!!!!

I believe moral views change based on how society evolves. So I guess I'm a relativist.

Glenn Beck isn't far right... he's a libertarian. I'd label him more like an ignorant nut.
I can see why some people watch O'reilly, but on occasion he says things so ridiculous that I'm left speechless.xLFTMxO'Reilly = registered independent If you want to find a Republican on Fox, watch Hannity.
Because they are hypocritical. They preach that government should stay out of a persons life yet they insist on regulating who a person may get married

I don't think people bash Republicans any more than they do Democrats. It just depends on the people you're around and which media oultes you pay attention to. I listen to lots of talk radio and can tell you that Republicans have a lot of defenders too.
Ouch. I don't think republicans bash on republicans though....so there's some good news for you TC.The Reps on here don't bash on the Dems either. It's just the political activist teens that have to be overly aggressive with their opinions.[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="Pirate700"]

Oh come now Pirate, you've been in political debates here enough to see Republicans/conservatives bashing on Democrats/liberals.
I don't know why, when Obama is basically doing the exact same crap as the previous administration. The main thing that's different is his speeches. Oh, and the big scary healthcare bill which nobody understands the effects of.

Republicans are hated on no more or less than dems. I haven't noticed an increase of hate on them. What I have noticed is an increase of repubs and conservatives playing the victim card though. Each side hates on the other and the folks in the middle just roll their eyes.dagreenfish
This x1000000000000000000000000000000000000.
Many Republicans/conservatives have gotten soft as the middle of a twinkie.
You even see it on this forum with people **** about how liberal-biased GS is all the while hating on Dems as liberals just as much as liberals hate on conservatives.
I think that a lot of times it's projection. For example, the left constantly makes accusations about the right being racist. However, it is the left that constantly lumps people of a race all together. The left also seems to think that minorities are unable to use their full potential and improve their lot in life on their own, thus assuming that they need to provide them with hand-outs. If thats not stereotyping/racist, I don't know what is.

YellowOneKinobi
That is not what the left thinks. That is merely a strawman resulting from an incorrect assumption about the left's phlosophy about welfare/race.
Also, some people, regardless of race, need assistance. No amount of warm and fuzzy idealistic rightwing bullcrap is going to change that.
