I was on wow a few days ago and i saw in trade chat, someone was saying that you have to be skilled at wow in order to be good at arena. I dont think video games take a shred of skill, its just pressing buttons. Are these people really so blind that they see pressing buttons requires skill? I cant understand this halp me out OT!

Are you serious? Some games are meant for you to develop your skillz. Like Space Invaders.

Yeah, because games don't use reaction times, knowledge of game elements, timing, mathematical skills, basic engineering, etc, etc...

Timing, reflexes, strategy, etc... I'd say gaming uses a range of skills. Perhaps not physical fitness, but there are lots of non-physically demanding skills.

It actually does. Finding a effecient ways to get the best overrall xp in things or pking a dude using certain tectniques does require skill at some degree.

Unless you're 12 and don't realize that.

Youre thinking of coordination, not skill.

You get better at a game as you play it, that means your skill is increasing.

Would you say that a secretary who types at 60 words per minute is at the same skill level as one that types at 120? Hand-eye coordination is a skill like any other. Its why not everyone can play every game and do well at it.

TC, just because you suck at video games doesn't mean you gotta be mad or that people will ride on your train.

Video games are just like anything else, through experience and critical thinking, your skills improve.

Well, trolling can be lulzy sometimes

Being stupid never is unless they hurt themselves as a result. i.e. youtube
