Why do people cheat in a relationship?

I guess because for whatever reason they forget what they're supposed to be doing momentarily.

I've never gotten it, personally. Why cheat on someone? If you're ever in a situation where you really want to, that's a clear indication that you relationship isn't working out. So, I would just break up with that person before cheating on him/her just to avoid all of the cheater-drama. If you break up with someone, they'll be upset. But, if you cheat on someone,thatis when your car's headlights have a good chance of gettting smashed in.

Boredom maybe.
