Why do men get nervous around women?

Most men that get nervous around women get nervous because they begin to think. That leads them to care in some manner that the person near them that they may be socially interacting with is a female. Once you stop thinking about women as women, and instead as just a person - another human being, like you - then nerves may go away.

Talking to women or people in general is not scary if your used to it. So go talk to ugly women buld up your game them move up before you know it you will be talking to sexy women just like the ugly ones. The key is knowing when your wasting your time no use talking to a say married woman or a lesbian for example. She could also be a gold digger if she ask you to buy her and her friends drinks cut and run. It may seem rude but I touch them and going by her reaction i know when I have a winner.

women i find attractive and really like. yes.

mostly based around fear of rejection, and suddenly having to stop what i'm doing and think what i'm doing first. which i try to avoid, because i feel like i'm playing some sort of game.

plus the way i talk about some topics around my guy friends would definently make some girls nervous or offended. so just talking to a every and any girl with everything wouldn't work. some sure - they get it, but not all.

Physiological mostly, hormones. Your primative sympathetic nervous system takes over when you see someone attractive, releasing catecholamines (what people normally call adrenaline), which causes increased energy mobilization in the body (more available energy for the muscles, which could possibly cause fidgeting), increased blood flow to the peripheries (arms, legs, reproductive organs etc, possibly causes shaking), increased heart rate/breathing rate (from the stimulated sympathetic nervous system), and sweating (to cool off from the stimulus).

Basically, if you have similar reactions to this around a woman, you likely find her attractive. If you act like this around all women, you either aren't exposed to women enough, or find most women attractive.

oooh i'm nervous before you miss allie =P

I was afraid that was an issue with me before. Then this week I talked to a 10 and she was asking me questions and I was asking her questions. I made her laugh. I did it all except get her number as she was too accomplished and older :)

Anyways how? I acted like how I'd act next to some person I'm not attracted to ie a friend, guy or an traditionally unattractive girl. Basically I acted like my damn self but I was a tad conservative just in case she was really conservative herself.

Next time I will take my chances though and be more provocative as confidence is key to attracting women. I checked out Simple Pickup they are pretty cool. Basically they don't give a crap about what they are wearing whether they look nerdy, emo or are on a wheelchair and still pick up using confidence.

Of course if you just want small talk with a girl at the least. You should follow this tip I got from Lifehacker. Family Occupation Recreation Dreams aka FORD. Remember that and follow up with questions of course you'll be fine.

P.S. Start with Occupation first as asking about family first is slightly random i think. You'll be fine brother.

I would say that would be the most common answer, would have been mine when i did get nervous. Once you can get past that the nerviousness will fade......or you will find something else to get nervous over.
