Why are liberals so emotional and irrational?

Wow......yep Lai is selfish. If he can't have it....no one else can.

Nobody has a right to my land but me. I will not let thieves take what is mine. It has been in my family for 150 years and it has never been owned by anyone else.

Still keeping up the old "ignoring posts that destroy my arguments and make me look stupid while irrationally attacking others" I see. I be back later to see how this ends.

[QUOTE="Laihendi"][QUOTE="Abbeten"] if your parents were going to sell it, the new owners wouldn't be thieves and you would be a vandal, violating their sovereign property rights-Sun_Tzu-

It will never be sold. It is my inheritance by rights and by law.

So your parents wouldn't be able to sell it even if they wanted to?

no because it is HIS AND ONLY RIGHTFULLY HIS

There is no right to inherit law. Your parents own the property and CAN throw your sorry ass of it and leave it to someone else. They can also sell it or donate it.

Taxes are also law (constitutionally upheld law at that) but you seem to want to ignore those.

If I had the money to burn I would absolutely find this property and offer Lai's parents more than the market value just for the fun of it. Then I'd set up a homeless shelter with it just to rub salt in Lai's wound.

[QUOTE="Laihendi"][QUOTE="Guybrush_3"]

So you are fine with small scale collectivism because it benefits you. Got it.

Laihendi

That is not collectivism. Only a statist would be against inheritance rights. My ancestors had a right to determine who would own it after them.

And if mommy and daddy decide to sell it, or to will it to a charitable group for use as a homeless shelter are you still going to scream "it's mine"?

It will never be sold, and no one from outside this family will ever own it. I will burn every tree down before I let someone else own it.

That's more like it. Nothing says it's mine like land mines or even some bear traps. On second thought bears traps are much more legal so go with that and a good rifle. Just in case you or someone else reading is genuinely insane I'm not being serious about the average person needing this level of protection or simply put, do not try at home kids.

I think I'd turn it into a homeless shelter too. Then again depending on where he lives I could make it my dirty hive of leftism in the states. Even if his property is quite large I'm almost certain it's nothing in price compared to a typical home where I've been trying to move to.

In the long term it's probably good business sense. The death tax must make it hard though and the US housing collapse of 2008. Where I live we don't have that so i don't have to worry about my kids being cheated out of my investments.

So what happens to the property then? It can't stay in your family forever if you're not leaving any family for it to stay in.

Hey lai, if the government invoked eminent domain to take over your house, what will you do?

[QUOTE="Laihendi"][QUOTE="dave123321"]Lai what would you do if your future kid doesn't agree to the terms? Burn everything down?worlock77

I am a homosexual. I do not expect to have children.

So what happens to the property then? It can't stay in your family forever if you're not leaving any family for it to stay in.

He could have siblings. Just saying. That doesn't make his stance any less irrational though.

That really makes what you have been saying seem self centered. You still deserve it of course if it's in your families will but if you aren't having children the entire keeping it for the family and future generations to enjoy arguement that could be used in this situation is invalid.

[QUOTE="Laihendi"] That is not collectivism. Only a statist would be against inheritance rights. My ancestors had a right to determine who would own it after them.Laihendi

And if mommy and daddy decide to sell it, or to will it to a charitable group for use as a homeless shelter are you still going to scream "it's mine"?

It will never be sold, and no one from outside this family will ever own it. I will burn every tree down before I let someone else own it.

Looks like someone liked Andrew Ryan.

[QUOTE="Laihendi"][QUOTE="Nuck81"][QUOTE="Laihendi"] My parents made me swear that I would never sell it, just as my father swore to his parents. It will never be sold.

That's a pretty emotional pact you made with your parents. Has your family always been so emotional and irrational?

Land ownership is the last defense against tyranny. When you don't have land you don't have anything.

Land ownership IS tyranny.
