Urgh. Neither. This is one circus I have absolutely no intention of seeing.
Nice pic of Diablo in your sig!
@TheHighWind:
Er... It's Mazdamundi. Leader of the Lizardmen race in Warhammer Fantasy Battles and the upcoming Total War: Warhammer II.
@PSP107:
Er, I don't care? The guy waited until Pacquiao was in decline to fight him. Fighters have all the power in boxing, and it's to the sport's detriment. Just look at this circus he and McGregor are throwing. Everybody knows it's a farce, yet these two will walk away with sky-high hype and a mountain of money for their troubles. It would sicken me if I actually give two shits about it. Like I said, I will not be watching.
@madrocketeer:
I have little interest in this fight too as I'm not a UFC fan so McGregor doesn't interest me.
But you can't blame them for how much they will pocket from this fight.
The people are to blame as they are willing to pay $100(cheaper if you split it up among other people)
And I'm sure big time celebrities are going to pay over 50k for a seat.

I'm not blaming them. "We all do what we can to do what we must" is something I say all the time. Instead, I blame the state of the sport for even allowing this to happen. As I said, the boxers have all the power in boxing, and the sport is worse off because of it. People actually want to see this fight? Sweet, go see it. I'm just saying I'm not touching this with a thousand foot pole, and simply stating why.
If anyone thinks Connor can actually touch Floyd, you're out of your mind. Floyd was near untouchable against great strikers in BOXING. Floyd will dance around Connor then strike when Connor is too gassed. Be a boring fight
All Mayweather fights are, objectively speaking, boring. The guy evades, throws a few jabs, and wins by decisions. He gets by on hype and his "Money" persona.
@PSP107:
I'm not even a boxing fan, I'm just interested in sports in general.
And I do appreciate the skill and discipline it takes to excel at defense-oriented fighting styles. I'm just saying that defensive fighters are objectively boring to watch.
@madrocketeer: @popgotcha:
Well it takes two to tango.
And is it safe to say you two(and most in here) are casual fans?
You two seem to not have a appreciation for the defensive side of boxing.
Oh absolutely casual. And in no way am I a expert, or claiming to be
I can certainly appreciate the defensive side. Whilst not the most enjoyable to view (IMO), I can still admire and appreciate the dedication and skill of not getting hit.
