Who has been on GameSpot the longest?

I first joined this website back in 2007 under my old account. I was a very active user back then. I had my 10k party, participated in Gamespot Unions and won a couple OTcars. I veered away from this website for a number of years that when I ultimately came back I no longer remembered my login and I had since then also deleted my old email. I thought it was a good choice to start fresh with a new account, the one that I'm using now.

I think since I initially joined Gamespot back in 2007, however, I spent numerous years longer on here as a lurker before ultimately making a profile. I might have first ever clicked on Gamespot and used it as my go-to gaming site since 2003 or 2004, but that initial time of discovery before joining is a bit more vague to me.

Doing well, life is busy these days. I bought a home a few years ago, just keeping busy with work these days. Gaming as usual :P

Man, too long. Lol. I think I started posting when I was 11 or 12. Now im 25. Eeek.

Call me crazy but I remember this being a PC-only site, too.

Anyway, was coming here for a while before actually signing up, but obviously there are people here longer than me haha.

Growing strong? I thought this forum has been on a sharp decline? The quality in threads are horrible now a days.

I have been here since 08. I wonder if people still do 10k parties anymore?

@darkmark91: Maybe, however its good to see there are so many people still around. Not all GS competitors have been this lucky.

Member since 2002. But I've been lurking around since 98/99 right before the PS2 came out.

I've been here since 2011 but 7 years is still a damn long time. My entire academic life basically.

I saw this topic and found this, my original account. I think I made it, quickly forgot about it, and never really it used for anything. My main account I actually used when active here was made in 2005.

I don't know, I have been a member for almost 10 years. I was 20 when I joined and going to be 30 next month.

Although I created this account in 2006, I had another one I was using from 2002-2006. It's hard to believe it has been so long. 0_o My niece and nephew were just toddlers. Now they are heading off to college!

Definitely nowhere near the record, but I first showed up around 2004 under an old account(was something like Grindage or Grinderman or something), never really posted in the forums at the time though.

I was lurking around here since 98-99. I didn't make an account till 2003. I think 2004 were the most active and best years. Off topic and system wars would have a new post every 30 seconds to a minute. It's slow as hell now.

Silently reading threads especially here in off-topic discussions since last year (Sept I think).

I remember when they had a special theme. Its was GameSpot Ice or something like that. Had to pay a couple bucks a month I think. Its been so long and I'm old. I may be making this up...
