http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FC1EZcrZEIs This video has Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison's son. Kinda cool to here a more recent performance by the 2 remaining Beatles.

I hate Paul McCartney. He should die in a fire. That is all.killercuts3Well I don't like him as much now, But in his day he was one of the best songrwiters of all time. Thats a terrible thing to say.

I don't even know why someone would get so pissed off.

I could at least think of things John did/said that would piss some people off, but not so much Paul.
Paul McCartney is incredibly knowledgable and talented in other areas of music, even classical. i believe he's earned great respect.
Aside from that, if you want a treat, listen to 'Gently Weeps' through just one side of the stereo (left or right, i forget. The one with no vocals) and you will listen the song in a different and excellent way.
Thanks for this link. it was my chance to compare clapton and prince finally since they both have filled that space recently on this song. verdict? prince killed him, but eric is good.TBoogy
I was just about to mention the version with Prince. I think that was the night that he and Harrison were inducted into the Rock and roll Hall of fame.
Prince's solo is definitely better, but to say he's a better guitarist than Clapton is pretty ridiculous.
Cocaine > Little Red Corvette.
