Is Thai food big in the US? Even though my country shares a border with Thailand, I am not familiar with any Thai food at all.

Even though I've eaten the resturaunt kind all my life, I know very little about authentic Chinese foods. So I'd have to say Japanese.

The funny thing is, the way Japanese Cuisine is in North American and other western countries is different than it is in Japan, the same goes for Chinese food.

From what I've seen on TV shows, the Chinese food in America looks pretty close to the cuisine of Souther China.

Chinese, well, I say that but it's mostly just Cantonese though I imagine that's the same for everyone, most dishes from other Chinese regions are, urm, a little bit interesting, never really in the mood for stir fried ducks blood.

Chinese I am most familiar with. There is one Korean dish I know of - kimshi (sp?). I was in a foreign country, and a co-worker of mine brought some in and placed it in the crew refrigerator. Then he laughed because someone put it in a paper bag with a sticky note that read, "covered by popular demand."

Here in ny you can get Thai food fairly easy. I tried it once and it was just disgusting. To answer your question I like Japanese food the best but eat chinesse much more often

Chinese (canto, mainland, teochew, hainan etc.), Taiwanese (stinky tofu), Japanese, Korean bbq (droolz), Thai, Vietnamese phooo!!, fusion food. Yeah Im pretty open minded about food.

I havent really tried Indian or Filipino food but balut is bomb!
