Five Guys is awesome, but I wouldn't put them in the Value category.

Lucky for you, they're building a Culvers on Irving Park road! The closest from your area code is on Berwyn, IL

I love Taco Bell's boxes. They're enough, sometimes even more than enough, to fill me up.

McDonald's has been adding healthier options, so that's great. I hope it continues to progress.

Recently did a round trip from FL to NY -- found this chain called Cookout in the Carolinas. Definitely some great value meal deals. $5 box gets you a ton of options.

I am satisfied with McDonald if I am on a tight budget.

Well, yeah I think McDonald offers better choices than others. To be honest I never like Burger King.

My main issue with BK is their service. Of the fast food establishments, they consistently give me the worst service and are usually very slow (for a fast food establishment).

I still say Chick-fil-A is still the best fast food restaurant for the value you'll get and most of all, better taste in foods.

I saw that McDonalds is now doing a $1 $2 and $3 dollar menu starting in January. So I'll likely be grabbing a Triple burger and McChicken, when I'm trying to keep a tight budget.

That reminds me that I haven't had a McGriddle in years.

Small fries should be added to the dollar one.

@PSP107: Yea small fries would be reasonable for the $1 menu. Even if I have to get a medium to feel satisfied with fries.

My sister used to eat McGriddles all the time when she had a traveling magazine job. She blamed it for her weight gain. I unfortunately pass on McGriddles because of dairy allergens.

@jak42: Yes, those McGriddles, though tasty, are terrible for a balanced diet.

Well this may not relate, but I'm from Singapore and our McDonalds has $1.30 McChickens and our KFC has $6.20 box meals with a Zinger Burger (spicy crispy chicken burger), one piece chicken, fries, mash and a drink.
