A 22-pound cat attacked its family.

Story just makes me laugh honestly. Can't imagine calling 911 because of a pissed off cat.
Think the family may need to assert their dominance there...
Owners or children probably physically abused the animal or neglected to develop such a personality, that isn't normal.
ok first off, why is he reporting from the bridge of the enterprise?
is shepard smith reporting and keeping the federation safe from klingons at the same time?
secondly, don't kick your cat.
I have had experiences with a terrified cat that screams and charges. It's not pleasant at all. They get so scared they piss and shit themselves, and the scream is deafening. They are a serious risk when in this state.
I'd say they way in which he described his kicking of the cat "setting it over the edge" suggests to me that there is a history of abuse against the cat. They don't normally get like that in a loving household.

Christ, now I can never see that show without thinking of this damn theme.
Why is Fox reporting on a family trapped by a cat in the first place?
2nd, a 22 lb cat?!
3rd, if a domesticated cat is flying off the rails and attacking humans, it's likely the parents did not do a great job raising the cat.
4th, I cant believe they called 9-1-1 because of that, and of course if anyone is doing it, it's someone from Portland, OR
5th, if that's the cat in the video, definitely doesn't look crazy to me. My guess is the cat kind of batted the child, the parents being overpretective of the child kicked the cat, and it flipped out.
6th, this post is riddled with assumptions, and I'm ok with that.
