[QUOTE="Franklinstein"]All presidents have done bad things, but Washington was the least corrupt in my opinion. Obama may turn out to be good, I have no idea.qwertyoipWell washington did own slaves. Depends on your definition of bad. Yeah, and Abraham Lincoln didn't bother to free slaves in the north, but like I said, LEAST

Slavery has already ended.
But Lincoln didn't end it. He ended it in the South, but didn't bother to free northern slaves. Also, I'd say it was kind of one of those right place right time things, it was a policy of the United States to ban slavery in the South.
I am going to choose to believe that you are joking. As acting president, Reagan. As a person, Gdub.

Well, to be fair, several of the northern states had already outlawed slavery. The main reason Lincoln freed only the Southern slaves was because he didn't want to anger the border states that had remained in the union and drive them to join in seceding.
I've learned about it in school.[QUOTE="ArmoredCore55"]

William Henry Harrison did the most you could ask from a President.smc91352Speech, get sick, and die? No, I thought about voting for him, but I said to myself, his stupidity denies him a vote.

I know the reasons were political, but that is my exact point, he didn't end it.[QUOTE="Pirate700"]Is that so? Yes, it is.Ah well thanks for being constructive. I loved your pick of Obama.
