[QUOTE="Serraph105"]I have low expectations for this. Were the themes strong enough to pull it through, or were there other aspects that made it great for you? It was an excellent comedy. Don't think Toy Story 2-3 here, mostly just quality humor.Monster's University, Honestly I thought it was great. I highly reccomend it.

Edit, It's not completely reduced to comedy, and the other bits it does have such as friendship, working together, etc does work. It's just not the main part of the movie, but then again Monster's Inc was also mostly comedy. Oh and as always with Pixar the animation is top notch.
Man of Steel. Mehh was okay. Fell asleep during some of the action scenes, was a bit repitive. Zack Snyder should make a live action dragon ball movie instead
You know DBZ had enough of a story, and strong enough characters to keep you emotionally invested. Man of Steel not so much.Man of Steel. Mehh was okay. Fell asleep during some of the action scenes, was a bit repitive. Zack Snyder should make a live action dragon ball movie instead

 LOL! Which is kinda sad.
Star Trek: Into Darkness. I've never really been into the series, but I did enjoy it, and I absolutely loved the soundtrack, probably more than the movie itself. :P
Iron Man 3 - Good, I liked it. Not especially memorable but it was fun.
oh actually, Star Trek was the last film I saw, that was really good too. Made me exicted for whats to come in the new Star Wars saga.
Last 2 I saw were..
Man Of Steel - Meh
World War Z - Suprisingly decent
It's a shame because I was really looking forward to Man Of Steel.
Monsters University. Gave me some good laughs. Would have been better without the background noises provided by the little kids in attendance.
Took the kids to see Monsters University. They enjoyed it, and I was entertained by the references to Animal House, Revenge of the Nerds, and Carrie.
Went to a second-run theater in Schenectady a few days later for a special showing of The Place Beyond The Pines. The first part was great, the middle section felt awkwards and slow, and the last part was pretty moving. It helps that I recognized much of the area and the sounds made it feel authentic (except one part which clearly took place in September, but a heat bug in the background made it sound like mid-August). I even drove past the first bank robbed in the movie on the way home. I'd definitely watch it again.
