It all depends on your skin. I actually switched from shaving Gel (Edge Sensitive) to shaving soap from ClassicShaving.com a couple of years ago. I get a better shave now than I did before and I do not get razor burn like I did previously.
Do you want the best a man can get or....?SolidSnake35yes, the best. im currently using Gillete shaving foam

Haven't seen this one.
i use clippers for any day trims, soap and disposable razor for known client, barbershop shave for new client.
I use an old fashioned bar and a brush and whip my own lather. Then I use a single bladed safety razor. The shave is so much better it's kind of ridiculous.DJ_Lae

Nice. I just have a cheap boar brush as I haven't found another I really like (and the price on most badger ones are pretty offputting), but it already provides a better lather than any canned stuff. Forget the brand of my shave soap, but it's a local organic company - smells vaguely of spice and cloves. I'm looking forward to getting my sampler pack of blades so I can try some different ones. Right now I've just been using Gems, but the options for single edged blades are basically nonexistent so I ordered myself a standard double-edge handle for variety.Nice. Try CIassicShaving.com. That is where I bought that gear from. I was looking for another stand just like that and while they were out, I found some other places that sold that line of stands and they wanted more for them. If I remember right, blades are rather cheap there too. I just ordered a bunch of soap on the 8th and I got it today, from California and I live in GA.
I'm confused... do you mean cream or gel? With gel, I usually just go with Edge. I don't use cream.if u want a good shave, you need a good shaving cream gel. so which is the best?
