I recently finally caught Tom Tykwer's The Princess and the Warrior (Der Krieger and the Die Kaiserin) and enjoyed it quite a bit.
City of god, best gangster movie ever. Nothing compares.Film-Guy
I can't say it's the best gangster movie ever because I haven't seen all gangster movies out there -- I haven't even seen The Godfather. However, City of God is definately a film that I would consider absolutely perfect and that I wouldn't change one bit of it.

It's certainly different. I'd reccomend it, but I don't want to say much about it other than it's definately... different.[QUOTE="Sir_Marwin"]I saw Pan's Labyrinth :Didiotic_genius1
Was that a good movie? I was thinking of seeing it.
It was pretty good, definitley not what I expected, but I liked it.[QUOTE="iloverikku11"]3:10 To Yuma.bdever32
That movie was terrible, no offense intended
Why do you say that? I thought it was great.
Just bought The Matrix Reloaded a few days ago and can't get enough of it. I've seen it many times but never bought it, that is, until a few days ago. IMO it's the best out of all 3. Yea I know, someone is gonna say the first one is the best...save it. I have seen all 3 numerous of times and will not change my mindso DON'T EVEN!
I bought Transformers on thursday (transforming Optimus Prime cd case version ^_^ ), & believe it or not, that was the first time I had seen it. & I now regret not seeing it in the theatre because I thought it was quite good.Celldrax

You know what frustrated me the most about Transformers? It couldn't decide what kind of movie it was going to be. It's based on a toy IP owned by Hasbro, and when the movie came out there were TONS of toys and games etc based on the movie. But the movie isn't appropriate for kids! It's pretty violent, there's lots of swearing, and sexual inuendo... but it was pretty cheesy and silly in places too which made it swing away from the gritty, darker kind of movie I was hoping it would be. t tried to satisfy both parties, but ended up satisfying neither.

I already have watched it again....& still enjoyed it (22 widescreen monitor + epic stereo sound set up = win......though yeah, 5.1 is obviously better...). & the music is part of the reason I've already revisited it a couple of times.....I'm definitely going to pick up the soundtrack with the orchestral score.
