What's OT's opinion on the upcoming movie CATS?

After watching The Lion King last week, I saw the trailer for CATS during the previews but I for one don't know anything about it. It's funny because I'm actually a Cat lover but I known very little of CATS other then it's a musical with humanoid Cats dancing.

Not gonna lie, we took Sonic the Hedgehog for granted lol. I'm intrigued though, I'll see it even though it has issues. To me, even "The Wizard of Oz" Lion custom just looks 10x better then this.

This thing was on Broadway FOREVER. I would see commercials advertising it every day on the local New York City/New Jersey TV stations growing up. There's an audience for this I suppose, but I am definitely not it. Way too creepy for me.

It looks like a nightmare come to life.

It's weird. And a little bit disturbing.

I'd rather watch every Tyler Perry movie back to back than watch Cats.

Considering hollywood, I'm surprised it took as long as it did. ALW will make a nice buck so why would he care about the mockery presented in the trailer.

I can tell you all now that Furry Cults are not hype about this film at all lol.

Like @hallenbeck77 said, it's a broadway and for those who wants to know what's it all about. It's about being reborn into a better life. It’s about the cat hierarchy........not even freaking joking. Or atleast what I remember about it some 20 years ago when I was 12. Cats have a big song and dance party at the Jellice Ball and whoever gives the best performance gets to be reborn.

Not sure anyone notice this but, this is a bold thing to do to release Cats on the same Day as Star Wars Episode IX: Rise of the Skywalker. It be funny if Cats ending up being number 1 and not Star Wars IX.

This looks like the kind of horrible furry invention that would get the maker shunned by 90% of the furry community and forever stuck in the depths of the pure yiffers.

So, I'm betting it's going to be a hit. Just out of sheer bile fascination.
