I would say Top Gun: Maverick, no contest. First movie in a long time that reminded me of what going to the movies were all about! How about you, OT?

Prob Prey.
Some dodgy CGI aside, really great movie.
Yeah. Seen it a few times now.
The only movie that I watched that came out this year and somewhat liked was Ambulance so I guess that's my pick.
Everything Everywhere All at Once is the best movie of 2022, and it is going to win Best Picture at the Oscars along with all the major awards shows.
If you have not seen this yet, what the **** are you waiting for? There is literally nothing else that compares to this one.

Just got a free 30 days with Showtime. Will watch when everyone is ready. Who knows maybe Reggie's body is ready for this film and has or hasn't watched it.
Though I haven't seen it, The Whale with Brendan Frasier looks amazing. Top notch performance based off of the trailers. But in regards to what I have actually seen, not much has peaked my interest at all, and most movies I went to see this year were mediocre at best. So, with that said, I would say Avatar: The Way of Water for the time being. I thought it was an okay film, I enjoyed my time there, but at least it wasn't another Marvel crap film.
I'll try and see the Whale sometime in the new year.
Unrelated, this was my fav thing on-screen last year.
Never in a thousand years did think a light romance comedy drama in South Korea based around an autistic lawyer would be so good. But it was fucking wonderful, loved it.

In almost every Korean movie I've ever watched, someone gets cut up or tortured or there's a dead body, usually with some sex on top. Guessing this is different, since it looks almost like a K-drama visually.
